The obvious introduction can be found here on Wikipedia obviously. Cannot believe i have not heard of them before. What caught my ear was their Promo Mix to their latest album entitled Stanton Sessions Volume 3, with big hitters like Alan Braxe feat Killa Kela - ‘Nightwatcher (Show Me)’ (Stanton Warriors Remix) and Bingo Players - ‘Get Up’ (Diplo Mix). Kissy Sell Out

Kissy Sell Out is a DJ/producer and graphic designer from the UK. Kissy Sell Out quickly gained notoriety in 2006/07 in the UK for his eccentric electro productions and energetic DJ style.

Although Kissy has often been decribed by the press as being a staple of the east London electro scene, Kissy is in fact from Colchester in Essex. It was during his adolescent years growing up there that he became obsessed with records by Nirvana, Aphrodite, Swans, Felix Da Housecat and John Martyn, while dividing the rest of his time between school, DJing at teenage house parties and chasing girls at the local roller-skating rink. It is these childhood adventures which he claims still provide the greatest impact on his music. The broad range of his musical influences usually manifest themselves in very melodically complex post-modern dance tracks around 128 BPM in tempo.

Genesis

For a long time I've been trying to get this old blog up and running to share some of the stuff thats going on. However it proved a bit more difficult than I thought at first but hey were getting somewhere now! Obviously to do with the music side of things. Avid listener of the old Electro, and by Electro i don't mean silly little electro house thats going round at the moment, but electro as in the likes of Boys Noize.

Don't have much time today so heres the obvious little snippet of what's there that i like. This is by no means hot new stuff, but the opposite. This is quite old stuff and the few songs that turned me to electro in the first place...and probably everyone else with the last song!
